NEW YORK, August 22, 2007—United Air Lines has launched online meeting room booking on United.com powered by Worktopia, Inc.’s web-based meeting room marketing and reservation system, allowing business travelers to conveniently and efficiently book meeting space in 18 of United’s Red Carpet Clubs. The fully integrated meeting room marketing and reservation system, powered by Worktopia™, is enabling on line meeting room bookings for enhanced member service, and for more efficient management and measurement of the United Red Carpet Club services. The club meeting rooms are popular for conducting interviews, holding meetings between trips, or participating in conference calls in comfort and privacy. Until now, business travelers wishing to book meetings in airline lounge meeting rooms, could only make such arrangements over the phone. Now, any Red Carpet Club member wishing to make a reservation can use the on line service and enjoy a 20% member discount.
